That will be why I couldn't see them then!!! Was worried my eyesight was getting worse :panic:
Ok so now I wish I hadn't looked - its fab!!! I so want a playroom :( Love the tree with the monkeys!! I looked at that (I assume its stickers) but as I use my dining room for cm and my sons are all adults now I decided against it!!!
I am so jealous :)

Love it! I've just had my garage converted in to a playroom & mine seems sooo small compared to yours! Ill share pics when mine is finished later this week x

that's brilliant. I love it.
my playroom started off uncluttered, but I keep adding more to it! I must remember 'less is more' !!!
( its just that I got very into heuristic play and now have a unit full of bits for the children to easily access themselves, as well as the stuff I give them ... not to mention the boxes of usual toys. they normally get out the heuristic bits, then get out the cars/trains/people/playfood etc and play with everything together, which is great, but boy does it make a mess! :D)

What a lovely room and lots of space. I have a dedicated playroom but only have one child currently and I must say I'm starting to worry how to manage the space once I get more children.

wow, that is amazing
cant wait to move now and decorate our new playroom
can i just ask everyone, how do you stop children pulling boxes of toys out and emptying all over floor? I leave most boxes in bedroom now and just get 2 or 3 out at a time. Would prefer to leave all in playroom though

Why is it when I come onto this Forum I end up spending £30!!! I have just ordered a set. Not sure about the free florescent pink butterflies though! I think they will go in the Car Boot Stuff.

What a lovely room, so light, airy and uncluttered!
I see some pictures of childminders' playrooms and they are just so bright and busy without the slightest bit of floor space or wall space free. I much prefer a neutral, spacious area. And from experience, the children play so much better in a calmer environment

It's beautiful, is that a covered area outside? I really like the elephant cushion in the corner.

The storage is from ikea, there's loads of different options you can get.
I really wanted to stay away from bright primary colours and keep it a bit softer!
Not sure if you can stop them emptying boxes on the floor but we've been tidying as we go today (first day in here) and its been fine. I guess it also depends on the ages of the children you have!

I love the blackboard wall - is it a blackboard screwed on, a stick on one or wall painted with blackboard paint?
Was the room a garage conversion or an extra extension built on - it looks so much bigger than my garage playroom which is now just used as a toy store as not big enough to actually play in!

The blackboard is a sticker! Can be taken off and moved and comes in a roll you cut to the size/shape you want.
The room is a part of an extension the previous owners did, the garage is next to it so not sure what it was before or if its new. They used it as a study.
