So after the inspector cancelling last friday we settled on yesterday as my inspection date - or so i thought.

Waited in all day - nothing. Rang Ofsted who put me through to her voicemail and left message checking what was happening.

Waited in this morning - nothing. Rang again and was put through to her and do you know what she said........

"Oh sorry, you are on my list of people to call. I must have put you in my electronic diary on the wrong week as I have you down for next thursday":censored: I know when she spoke to my last friday she said thursday not thursday after next.

I am sick and tired of this inspection and she hasn't even made it to my house yet. This is the 4th date for it so if she actually makes it too my house tho whole process would have spanned a 4 week period. :(

I have been told to complain by ds's pre-school teachers but I honestly do not want to rock the boat when the inspectin is still to be done.

A friend waited 4 weeks from phone call to inspector coming ... it's not unusual I'm afraid.

Usually they don't even give you a week, never mind a day ...

Don't get cross ... get even and be really really impressive when she comes

I wouldn't have been so annoyed if she had said I might come. It is the fact that she said that she would be there on a particular day and then to wait in all day on the only day of the week that the weather was reasonable was torture.

Also I promised my Joe that if he was good he could have Doctor Who's sonic screwdriver so if anyone has any ideas about persuading a 3 yr old to wait for another week for a sonic screwdriver they would be welcome.

That is annoying - my last inspection I got a phone call on Tuesday and she came Wednesday morning but the one before that spanned 3 months of Ofsted messing me about!

Can't say which was worse!

Good luck for Thursday - hope she turns up this time
