Hi - I KNOW I should know this off pat but nevermind brain too frazzled - does a 4 year old who's starting school in September count as under 5 for the preceding summer holiday or not??? Need answers, parent in crisis wanting extra space!

Until the child actually starts school, they are still classed in your under 5 category. The day they start school, they are then classed as 5 and over. Hope that helps.

They count as under 5 until they are in full time school. So doing both the morning & afternoon session Monday-Friday.
This summer holiday they will count as a 4 year old.
