Hi All,

Just a quick question. My inspection would be due this month but I thought Ofsted had stopped inspecting until September because of EYFS. I noticed some of you have been inspected recently, so now I am confused what's going on?

Me too Anne. I can't remember a thing if anyone asks me any questions! Do we have to know the National Standards and answer questions on those if we have an inspection before September? I'll just go quiet and look very gormless!

My network co-ordinator has told those on our network that ofsted aren't inspecting those that have already been inspected/graded until after Sept because of the EYFS. However those that are newly registerd are having there 1st inspections as normal.

Don't know how true this is, but it does seem to be whats happening accross the board.

If i'm wrong somebody will be along soon.

Yeah Sue before September it will be on 14 national standards & afterwards the EYFS

As far as I know, Ofsted are still inspecting as normal ... and they are getting round lots of newbies just now :D

Mines due now too and according to my network co ordinator they definately won't be round before Sept.

I had heard they were still inspecting

But then I heard they were not till Sept

So clever me thinks its one or the other haha

I am just waiting for someone to ring me back. the lady on the phone said that there wasn't any note's on the computer when she put in my reg number so I gues I haven't got an inpending visit any time this month. I wil let you know when the inspector phones me.:)

I had a call saying they were updating their records and then I had a call about a month later with date for inspection, I was told by quite a few people wouldn't be till september but had mine last month. Was my 1st inspection so dont know if that made any difference.

ofsted are inspecting as normal here in notts. i had mine a couple of weeks ago and the inspector told me that they are doing all the inspections as norm.
