Exactly what I thought, on top of all the other things. People aren't going to bother notifying ofsted when someone moves into their house because of the cost.

I've just had to pay for a CRB check and it was £44. May have gone up now its that new thing rather than a CRB though.

I think it's around £44 ... we don't need to renew them though! It's only for new DBS checks.

I'm hoping I don't have to pay seeing as I put the applications in 6 weeks ago but got sent back to me a couple of days ago due to missing info- I have two- one for my sister who is moving into my house and one for my new assistant so that's £88 :(
