Ok my understanding is you can have 6 children to care for under the age of 8 in total of which 3 can be within the early years age group (0-5) although only one of those 3 can be under 12 months.
Does that help? Hope so.

You say your children are under 8 but how old are they? As this does affect your numbers :D

I think she said she had 2 over 8, which does not effect her numbers. You are allowed 3 under 5, ( only 1 of these can be under 1) and 3 over 5. Over 8's do not count towards your numbers. Good luck!

Although you do have to be able to demonstrate that care of over 8s won't have a negative impact on the under 8s.

So if I put 1 for 0-1
2 for 1 to 4
3 for 4 for 8
Total 6
Don't mean I will have that amount but I may as well apply for max numbers?
