Hi does none know what the transfer process is, can you just transfer over to Ofsted or do I have to complete whole registration process again

When I moved to England from Scotland I had to register as a new childminder (I was a childminder under the care commission up there)
Phone and asked

Thank, i thought that would be the case, presuming its the same rules coming from Wales to England

I moved from England to Wales and had to re-register completely too. They even debated me doing the ICP course again. I am sure that I was told if I moved back to England I would HAVE to do it again because of EYFS.

You have to do the introduction to childminding course - then DBS checks and medical stuff - then Ofsted.
Unfortunately it's written into the requirements so it is law that you follow the process.
It depends where you live as to how long it all takes. Hopefully you'll move to a quick LA but the average seems to be about 6 months!
Then all the EYFS stuff on the forum will suddenly start to make sense  :D
