Yes about 6 months too but some have reported nearly a year. Ofsted are unlikely to forget to inspect you! :D

Mine was about 10/11 months!

Six months to the week!

4 1/2 months for mine. Registered middle of Jan and got the call on Monday. So be prepared, I was shocked.

I was registered in April last year and had my inspection this week.:)

6 months to the day for me.......

Six months for me too - what made it worse, was that I'd only been open for business for five weeks at the time of inspection, and had only moved house a week prior to that!!!!

Wasn't as bad as I was expecting but not happy with the outcome.....

I've got mine this week. 6 months to the week here also.

so hopefully August at the earliest (hopefully not as I am making a wedding cake then! so won't have much spare time in the evenings). How much notice did they give you?

I had a call t ask how many I had on my books, then a week n half later inspector called. She booked for 6 days later, but told me this was a lot of notice but she was trying to see another the same day.

I've been registered and minding since October last year and still waiting. Had a letter in April saying they tried to contact me so phoned ofsted and the lady took details but only made sure I had children on whatever days but not how many and said she would pass it onto the appropriate section but I've heard nothing since!
