I presume first graded inspection as opposed to pre-reg inspection.

I had my first graded inspection a few weeks ago. The inspector will be observing how you interact with the children as well as your paperwork. Paperwork wise I laid out the following and the inspector went through it whilst asking questions: attendance register, training/CPD file, learning journals, children's personal files, working in partnership folder, fire drill log. Your inspector will be looking for evidence that the children are progressing, will observe you interacting with the children and will ask you about safeguarding (probably).

Good luck and don't worry!

I am looking at getring it all together I only have 1 mindee so not massive amount of paperwork and I think that is where I am worried that yhere is not enough but I have only had a mindee for 5 weeks and have done her starter observations and a cupple of others and there dont seem much lol.

Obviously you can only show as much evidence as you have. In five weeks you won't have a huge amount. That may compromise you in getting the highest grade but do your best and show yourself off as much as possible.

Good luck
