I have posted similar questions on the forum twice in two days by neither has been posted, why?. They are not offensive and they are genuine queries.
I use forums a lot for other things and have never had a problem.
If there was a problem with either post then please contact me to tell me, don't leave me checking new posts to see if I have any advice.

Your thread is here Donnadoobie -

You then posted a second question asking the same thing which I have not moderated because it is a duplicate.
All moderators are volunteers. I have just finished a 10.5 hour childminding day and I am now here sorting out threads, answering member questions, deleting spammers and clearing posts in moderations. It will probably take me an hour to finish everything but I will carry on until it's done because I know how important members' threads are to them.
Sometimes you need to bear with us :D

Donna, it is essential that new members are moderated to make sure their motives for joining the forum are sound. Once you get past the moderation stage your posts will appear straight away and lots of very helpful people will be happy to help you out and hopefully you can help others out too. Keep posting and you will soon see the way the forum works and the benefits you can get from it

Thank you for putting my mind at rest, I thought I had said something I shouldn't. As long as I know It is just that people are busy and need time to moderate I promise to be patient!:)

I think you only need 4 posts to be out of moderation and you now have 2! Once you get to 20 posts you become an amber member and can access more features and 300 posts means you can become a green member with more privileges!
Better get chatting :D

You are so right Rick, if you saw some of the links we have to see you would know why. There are some very nasty/unsavoury/evil people out there who we try to protect you from. :)

Now I am curious! I wonder what motivates people to be bothered to do such a thing?

Plain and simple - MONEY!
Spam is big business, there are several types. For instance to try to get internet traffic to a site, so they post links and photos. Or they are out to rob people. People must be following links and acting on them or the spammers would not bother to send them out.
How many of us get the ones that are allegedly from the bank or paypal, it only needs a few people to give out their info and a few bank accounts cleared of funds to make it worth their while.

I think it's disgusting! Have enough of it on my enable and phone calls, but on a child's forum?! These people need to get a life!!
