One thing Mrs O asked when going through my paperwork was, Have I told parents she is coming and do I have any feedback from them. Luckily I had parental questionnaires done few weeks ago and Mrs O was happy with that!

A lot of childminders are telling me that inspectors are trying to speak to parents - arriving early etc - so it's a good idea to make sure they are primed to say the right things
Thank you for the feedback Mia :D

I would have loved the inspector to have done that as they are all very complimentary. I even handed her a list of numbers but she wasn't interested. I thought she may have wanted to as I had messed up my SEF and managed to have section 1 text in section 1 and 2......oops!

How frustrating
I had realised my error the day before my inspection so promptly corrected the SEF online and printed it out which the inspector took with her. Still don't know how I managed it!

when I told one of my parents my Ofsted inspection could be any day, she brought a card in the very next morning addressed to the Ofsted inspector, which she'd written about me (all very complimentary) :)

I was specifically told that I "might like to get references from my parents"... and thankfully both sets provided glowing ones

yes I labelled mine working in partnership with parents.
when my inspector rang to arrange the inspection, she specifically asked for written references from parents (I made a few frantic phone calls to the parents both past and present!). She also asked if I could find out whether any of the parents would be willing to speak to her while she was there - a couple of parents agreed to this, however, I was lucky as the written references were fab and she was impressed with just looking at those.
