Hi
I was due my 3 yearly inspection in March this year, I got a Good last time and wondered when I could expect a call? I had heard they were behind and prioritising satisfactory or below first.. just wondered if anyone else with a 'good' was on time or delayed?
Thanks :)

Mine was due in August 2012. Previous inspection grade was good. I took my SEF on holiday with me last July too, and spent most evenings doing a bit of it, not impressed that i didn't need to rush to do it.

I'm still waiting for my first graded inspection. I've been registered since March 2012.

Part if me wants to get it over and done with, the other part wants to keep my head down for as long as possible. As one forum member once said 'don't wake a sleeping dragon'!

Oh wow that is a long time. I thought they were really strict on first ones being on time. I hope mine is delayed for this long! You don't happen to be in the North East do you? Lol

They originally called me in August but I didn't have any children on roll then. Not heard anything since despite me calling them.

I'm in Cheshire x

I was done on Monday after the 3 years being up in Oct 11. I was graded Satisfactory back then so it's been 4.5 years for somebody who was supposed to be classed as a priority, however Ofsted were in no rush as I am not a concern.

I'm on the Berkshire / Oxfordshire boarder and my inspector said they have been dragged off on Nursery complaints a lot lately so are falling even more behind. She feels that complaints are being made against the big nurseries as parents are getting worried about there ability to cope with larger ratios.

If you look at the Osfted website about inspection cycles is actually states that you can expect to be inspected at least once in a 46mth cycle. The last cycle started Sept 2008 and the new one Sept 12. So if you were inspected Sept 08 and got Outstanding you were unlikely to be inspected again in the last cycle unless Ofsted had concerns for some reason. The new one has started and as Outstanding you are not a priority so it could mean you get inspected late in this cycle, meaning in theory it could be one hell of a long time between inspections.
