Hi. Just moulded some soap flakes with water into paper weight shapes. Once they're dried and hard, can the children paint them? Sorry, sounds a bit of a silly question but I just wondered whether the paint would peel off or anything. Wanted to give them as gifts for the parents.

They sound really good
Unsure about the paint though - could you not do a test on a small part underneath or something ?
Do you have any pics ?

I'm not sure about the paint either cos we added paint directly into the mixture when we squidged it up. Let us know how it turns out if you give it a go!

No pics yet. They don't look anything much at the moment. If they can be painted then I'll take some pics.:D

Mmmm, interesting! I thought they were dry so I gave them to the boys to paint. Next minute, my son is squidging it all in between his fingers and trying to eat it! Will wait longer next time!

Our snowflake modelling took a good few days to dry out completely. Didn't paint it though so not sure about that one
