Hi, has anyone had an insepection recently? Could you give me any tips on what they are looking for? Its my first inspection but i've been working for over a year so i've had to chase them to get them to come out to me. Any help would be greatly appriciated. xx

Google ofsted inspection reports and have a look at some recent ones in your area, it will give you a guide what the inspectors are picking up on at the moment.

Also search for inspection report on the forum. Lots of people have left feedback. Including me:

Good luck :clapping:

Thank you, and wibble wobble lol!!!

Had a look at some reports, it seems to be all about not sharing information with parents ass to why they are holding back on giving people good or outstanding. I have done everything possible now i think so its just fingers and toes crossed, and hope they don't shout at me for not having a register. Guess im not getting much sleep tonight.

Good luck!
Wibble linked to my feedback, so you'll have seen how mine went (thank you Wibble, I'm honoured!). I think, with regards to parent feedback, that it's sometimes as much about the day to day chit chat as it is the formal, written stuff. Be proud if yourself and your children, be confident in knowing that even if you don't know the answer you know where to go to find it, be a little bit humble (Ah, Mrs O, you are sooooo wise!), and I'm sure you'll do great!!

And do let us know!!!

I was told outstanding is proving you have contributed to the child's development. I only had my mindee for 4 weeks so it was hard to prove that.

I haven't heard that one, but I was congratulated for contributing and got good, so I guess it's the old story that what's true of one inspector isn't of the next!
