What do we HAVE to have on display, is it just our certificate and the OFSTED parent poster?

Thanks,
Linda.

I'm sure we were told on the CHiP course to display public liability. Maybe I'll put it in my folder then - less bits and pieces to have about the place!

The inspector asked to see my insurance when she looked through my folder, checked it was in date.

The statutory document to display is your registration certificate.

Ofsted inspectors expect to see your Ofsted parents poster on the wall where parents can look at it as well.

Most childminders also display their emergency evacuation procedures - because Ofsted inspectors have asked to see them displayed - but it's not in the requirements.

Many LA advisors suggest insurance, first aid and other certificates and safeguarding telephone numbers are displayed - but those aren't in the EYFS - but then the EYFS doesn't mention the Ofsted parents poster and that is expected!

Hth :D

I have on my outboard Ofsted ref cert, Ofsted parent poster, menu planner for week, procedure for safeguarding issue, fire evac plan, rugs for parents, and a poster which I update with pictures of each child playing. Helped me get Outstanding !

When I had my pre reg in February mrs O said that the parent poster doesn't have to be displayed anymore. I haven't really got a board a such due to space limitations so have things like fire evac and reg very in various places in the hall, hope ofsted will be happy with this.

Grantham, I did wonder why you had 'rugs' for parents. I thought I'd missed something somewhere x
