Please can someone give me advise as to what happens if a child has conjunctivitis can I look after them or do they only return to my care once cleared up.

That is up to you. Some gps dont give drops anymore as there is no proof drops actually clear it up any quicker.

It can be contagious, so you just need to be watchful for hands going to eyes and similar.
