Oooh Eeer! Sad to have missed that one.
Have very mixed feelings about Mumsnet. Once had a really upsetting time when posting for advice about a rescue dog we had to 'return' because he kept going bonkers and started snapping at everyone. Was made to feel like a dreadful human being (several posters were on the dog's side - Erm Mum's-Net? or Dog's-Net?!)
But I have learned not to post much re: CM issues, as there is always at least one parent on there with an axe to grind.
Very interesting seeing it from two different perspectives though - parent and CM.
I tend to steer clear these days - but did take part when Truss was one there a couple of months ago.
