I have just had a phone call and the inspector is coming this Friday!!!!! that's in 2 days time - I thought I would have at least a week to get prepared! I had no choice really - she said that she had so many days to inspect a newly reg childminder - and that this friday would be the last day - I had actually planned to take the children out to meet another childminder and her kids for the first time! - but she pleaded with me as said she would get in trouble so I said I would cancel - but 2 days!!!!! I feel sick!

Have so much to do! And I am panicking as all planning and observations link to EYFS - but I hope that she will be ok about that - also the gardeners at the uni where I live had promised me they were going to put up a fence on a wall to make it higher and so more childproof but have yet to do it - they said last week but I guess it is low down on their priority list now as they are going mad for the studnets graduation day - I have it down as something in risk assessments to be done - will this be ok? The children are always supervised anyway and no one has ever climbed on this wall yet....

Oh help! How on earth am I going to fit everything I have to do in 2 days!

Try not to panic (easier said than done I know) and I'm sure you will be fine :) Wishing you luck and hope it goes well ;)

I imagine the wall will be ok - was it like that at pre-reg? Can you mither the gardeners?

I'd just make sure you show her your risk assessments but don't point the wall out ... what she might not see won't worry her!

You'll be fine with everything else - you know you've got it all in hand really!

Just relax and get some sleep at the weekend when it's all over :D
