I have just had a phone call and the inspector is coming this Friday!!!!! that's in 2 days time - I thought I would have at least a week to get prepared! I had no choice really - she said that she had so many days to inspect a newly reg childminder - and that this friday would be the last day - I had actually planned to take the children out to meet another childminder and her kids for the first time! - but she pleaded with me as said she would get in trouble so I said I would cancel - but 2 days!!!!! I feel sick!
Have so much to do! And I am panicking as all planning and observations link to EYFS - but I hope that she will be ok about that - also the gardeners at the uni where I live had promised me they were going to put up a fence on a wall to make it higher and so more childproof but have yet to do it - they said last week but I guess it is low down on their priority list now as they are going mad for the studnets graduation day - I have it down as something in risk assessments to be done - will this be ok? The children are always supervised anyway and no one has ever climbed on this wall yet....
Oh help! How on earth am I going to fit everything I have to do in 2 days!
