I currently work with one assistant, so we can look after 3 under 5s each. If I work with two assistants does that mean we can have 9 under 5s? Space allowing of course.

As far as I am aware if you have two assistants it changes from Childminding to a nursery setting. Might need some clarification

That's what I thought but I would get some clarification before I made a decision.

I work with a Co-minder and an assistant and we can have 12 children altogether, 9 in the ey group but only 2 under 1yr...... at the moment until it all changes !
I employ 2 assistants and i can have 9 children , but this is in Wales .

i thought that if you have 4 people working in one place it is childcare on domestic premises.
