Hi, I asked about this a long time ago but memory has gone to pot.

Say for example, my garage is finished being converted and I take measurements to allow me NEW business/extension of numbers. Do I call Ofsted to notify them that I have more space so they can visit or do I just do a RA? Surely if Ofsted aren't deciding numbers now that there would be no point?

Currently I am sticking to my old allowance of 4 EYFS with an assistant so would like to know what steps I need to take to increase numbers.

Also my daughter is due for full time school in September - I assume here I just ring Ofsted notify them and then do an RA to allow me an extra EYFS space?

My understanding is that you dont have to inform OFSTED when your daughter starts full time school , you just raise your numbers accordingly

as for creating extra space and having more children , I think that space will no longer be an issue once the new requirements take effect ,from what I can gather , whenever that is ....see "more great childcare"

So its difficult to give you an answer on that front as everything seems to be very much up in the air at the moment
