I had first inspection today.
I actually had an appointment with her this afternoon and she had a two hour window to do inspection...This was mainly down to she was planning to come Monday but was off sick and it was the only time she could get to me before my 6 months was up.

Worst day in the world really I only have a 7 month old baby during day...she is not well teething full of cold and generally very miserable...She was asleep when Mrs O arrived but woke up refused to do any activities...just wanted to sit on my lap...

I had story sack but she just cried when I got catterpillar out. she fell asleep in my arms but would not go down. She did take into account how baby was obviously feeling and did say it showed we had great attachments and bonds and had no issues with care at all...

She asked me to talk through the music session I had done with her this am. and basically toook my word on how she had been.

She barely looked at my Sef at what I do more my evaluation. She did say that without a sef she would have serious issues how anyone is looking at there practise.

She also said while risk assessments are no longer a requirement , it would be difficult to prove through talking that you do risk aseess everything.

She did ask about photo's I said I have a a display what we have been doing lately..she did say a scrapbook of things done can make it easeir for assessing all areas of learning are been met.

her recomendations was about labeling boxes and more educational developments from parents.

My whole visit took 2 hours and 10 mins. and was graded good which I am more than happy with

Hope some of this information is helpful to others
