Hi, I had my first graded inspection in August last year and got a Good which I was more than pleased with.
Today I missed a call on my mobile and phoned it back and it was an ofsted lady asking if I was minding as she wanted to inspect me next week!!
Apparently it's because I have moved house, yes I have but that was in September last year!
So now I've got another inspection to stress about, think I'm more nervous about this one than the first one!

Bad luck - hope it all goes well.

Moral of that story is a) don't more house and b) don't ring back missed calls!:panic:

Lol! Yep I'm staying put this time and will ignore the phone :)

It's just a pain as I know my paperwork etc is ok but the house is still in progress.
Garden is nowhere near ready and spare rooms etc need sorting too.
I have a big list of things that I need to do so will have to show her that I am slowly working through my wish lists.

And I hate people firing questions at me , I just waffle lol.
I better make sure I have the revised EYFS in my head properly by next week. I still rely on the development matters paperwork lots and am dreading having to do observations with her there.

I am well over due mine (4 half years!!) And have moved 3 times since my last inspection, I wish they would hurry up and come here lol!! I also got good so makes no sense around here only seem to be doing newbies and inadequate/ satisfactory childminders (from ofsted online reports for area confirms this lol)

Good luck xx

You'll be fine Jade - just go through your plans - Ofsted inspectors love action plans for the future :D

Same here 4 1/2 years since last inspection & moved twice! Lol I'd moved a year before my last inspection & inspector went to my old house! Luckily I was only a mile down the road....this time it's 250 miles!

No childminder has been inspected in my area for ages.
