Decided to check my application this afternoon online.put in all my details URN etc.... And my application was not there!
Rang Ofsted ,lady said she couldn't find it either and would email the applications dept and get them to call me back.my application was done a week last Sunday and I just wanted a progress check.Surely they can't have lost it !
Any advice please :(

Unfortunately Ofsted are capable of being very bad at admin. They 'lost' one id my CRBs recently and asked me to fill in new forms. It was there all the time! Left hand often does not know what right hand is doing. Just keep phoning and persisting or email in a complaint.

Have been out all day today,I am going to chase them again tomorrow.

Not unusual I'm afraid - just keep ringing and chasing.

Well ! Due to a data error they have lost my application ! Only took four days of ringing for them to confirm this.Have applied again online and the following day it was on their system and everything seems to be okay now. Hooray :)

What a pain in the behind.
