My advise would be to do the Ofsted Self Evaluation Form, get it sent in on-line well before your inspection is due so they have time to read it. I know some people don't bother with it but it really helped me and it helps get your mind in 'ofsted' mode! My inspector copy&pasted big chunks of my SEF directly into my report so I kind of got to write it myself- perfect! I am hearing people are being told they can not get outstanding on their first inspection, I did but that was before the 2012 inspection changes so not sure what the policy is now.

Are you talking about a pre-registration visit or an inspection?
You need different things in place depending on the type of visit :D

the most important thing is that you are calm and natural - the children pick up on your stress and that won't help you!
Try to do some evaluation - even if it's not the Ofsted SEF.
This is the Ofsted inspection document -
Ofsted | Are you ready for your inspection? A guide to inspections of provision on Ofsted's Childcare and Early Years Registers (http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/resources/are-you-ready-for-your-inspection-guide-inspections-of-provision-ofsteds-childcare-and-early-years-r)
Good luck! :D
