I was unfortunate to have another childminder make a complaint to ofsted about me being over my numbers by 1! ( I innocently didn't think I needed to count my 6 and 7 year old in my numbers when they were at school) and because I was over my numbers I was marked down from a good to inadequate with a mentor visit in 3 months time. I'm nearing that mentor visit and wondered if anyone else had had the same experience. I'm hoping to request another full inspection ASAP and get my grade back up to good. All part of the new EYFS, if a complaint is made against you you get a full inspection without any warning. My inspector was sat waiting for me on my drive when I got back from being shopping and came and did the inspection there and then. And although everything else was good I was given an inadequate grading overall because of the issue with my numbers :( luckily the families I work with have supported me through it all.
