Does anyone know if ofsted inspect you when all the children are in full time education .i can't understand how they can do an inspection when children are not present .

If you have no eyfs age children they will inspect you with no children on the roll. Like a pre reg but you wont be given a grade.

Ofsted are not bothered about older children :(

The do inspect about 10% of childminders on the Childcare Register to make sure they are complying with the requirements - so you might get a visit.

They would come after school and spend time chatting to the children, checking documents, watching interactions etc.
