If ofsted are trying to call my friend would their number show or would it say private/withheld ?

It's usually private/withheld number. Then they start leaving messages. That's when you can't ignore them anymore :eek:

I had calls from a Liverpool number shortly before my last inspection checking I was working...

My one was a local number who wouldnt leave voicemails! I ended up calling back to find out who it was! :(

i've had phone calls from the 0300 number in the past, as well as withheld/private numbers. i do tend to ignore the withheld numbers, unless they ring several times!

I had a call first to see if i was working so i had a bit of warning and then the inspector phoned a few days later so I knew it was coming.

Oops ive had s missed unavailable call two days in a row now. Could it be them? My friend got me paranoid now as we are both due similar time. Wonder if i will keep my good ?

If it was ofsted and you hadnt answered there would have been a message with a number to contact - well that what happened in my case :thumbsup:
