From this year, there are changes to the Self Assessment deadlines - paper returns must now be filed by 31 October, while the deadline for online returns remains at 31 January.
And...
The limit for completing simpler, abbreviated accounts information has been doubled to £30,000.

About time too - I have been dreading the year I creep over the limit.
Nice to have some good news for a change. Now all we need is to be able to write off our monthly mortgage payments and for the mileage amount to go up and we will be laughing - well almost.

The tax woman told me about this being a possibility when she came to see me in Jan but wasn't sure as it wasn't set in stone.

Oh No!!!! I'm quoting my own posts  how embarassing is that??
Sorry  is it 07/08 that don't need to be in 'til October? Because I'm a naughty, naughty girl and despite my best intentions I haven't touches my books since mid March  I don't see me having enough free time to do them until DH come home in August :(
