Hi
I'm just going through policies etc and came across a swimming policy.
My local pool has a strict parent child ratio of 1 adult to 1 child. I can't take my own children [3] with me and my partner because of this ratio....
do you have this policy for mindees or would you just not take them?

My sister (she's a childminder too) takes her mindees swimming.
She is a qualified swimming teacher so uses a weekly swimming lesson as a selling point to parents for her business.
Our local pool has a policy where you can only take 2 under 5's in so she sticks to that and the parents are happy with it.
She also gets parents to sign a swimming lesson consent form.

I've not taken children swimming for years!
I made a decision I can fill their lives with other exciting adventures which are less risky :panic:
that is a good selling point! ;)
Thanks Sarah  I think I'll stick to the non-swimming stuff too
xx
yes we do take them swimming if there are only two of them as its one to one here
we do have a swimming policy and parental consent for this.

I'm with Angel on this one. My mindees shouldn't be subjected to the sight of me in a swimming costume :panic:
lol at angel and emler
I agree though, what's covered up they can;t see ;) and I need mine covered :p
