Hi everyone.

I am just reading through the 'preparing for your registration visit' booklet and wondered what your thoughts were on this question "what sources of help might you find for children who were not developing in line with expectations?" Thanks in advance :)

you would initially speak to parents and voice your concerns.

You cannot go to other agencies without parents written permission - but if they ask for help then you can join up with them to support the child.

You can speak confidentially to your childminding coordinator (they call themselves different things but are local bods who support childminders) and ask advice but you are not legally allowed to go above parents heads unless it is a safeguarding concern.

Hope this helps :D

Thanks for your reply. How would I find out about my local childminding co-ordinator?
