Ditto, but even less for long days/full time weeks.
There is a cm locally who charges more than £4 but I have.no idea if they are full or have spaces.

I charge £4. I am full and I am putting my fees up in April! :)
I charge £4 per hour and am in Notts, that includes food too. Other childminders charge the same as me but it really varies round here, I know 1 who only charges £3 per hour.

I'm in Leicestershire and charge £3.50.
I was £3 in 2007 but then put my prices up in 2010 by 50p when I discovered I was more qualified than the other minders in my town. I'm full and I'm not raising my prices at the moment. I'm happy with what they are. :)

I charge £3.00 per hour which is in line with others in my area. It is so local orientated as the school I cover comes under another area only 1 1/2 miles away and the other minders who cover that school charge £3.50 per hour but if I charged that I would be charging higher than the minders who live close to me. I do know of one minder who does charge £4.50 per hour and advertises that this is because she is outstanding.

The midlands is a big place too - the variation is probably quite large. The prices local to you, within a couple of miles if urban, are the only ones that matter.

Only reason I said 'Midlands' as opposed to London and rest of South East. Thing is, wages are higher down there as well.
I started in September 2011 charging £3.50. In September 2012 I charged new customers £3.80.
I now need to bring the older customers in line with the new ones, either £3.70 or £3.75. Break them in gently iyswim

I am in between Burton on Trent and Derby and I charge £3.50 per hour, two others in the same village charge £4.50 and are always full, but then I am happy with what I have got at the moment, I couldn't put my charges up because the parents would go elsewhere.
