I had my first inspection today!! And it went really well. She pointed out a couple of ways I can improve the way I do things which was really helpful, apart from that she was completely happy. Phew! Can breathe for another year :) xxxxxxx

Mine was completely unannounced (in Wales we are told it will be within 12 weeks and thats as much as we get on when they are coming) which I have to be honest I think I prefer as she just caught me as I would normally be. In fact, she caught me at the worst time as we had just got in from a playschool run, lunch was already cooking in the oven as I have pick up 45 mins later. So was all a bit manic. She took some notes and observed while I dished up the dinner and then while the children were eating I got out the paperwork she asked for. When they had finished I got out the lego and we sat and built lego and she asked me some questions and went through my paperwork. It was much calmer than I expected, but I have to admit I am very glad it is over for another year. Try not to worry, my inspector was really nice and I asked her lots of questions too. Good luck xxx
