I've had 'the call', or rather, 'the email' late on Tuesday for a Thursday inspection. Ms O asked if I had any children, unfortunately I don't until next week. She hasn't replied to that to say she isn't coming/reschedule. Will she just turn up tomorrow and inspect anyway?:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Don't know whether to wait in or not, I really want to take my lot out as they are driving me mad :o

You shouldn't have an inspection without children - unless you have no choice because you are at the end of your inspection cycle.

If the inspector cannot see you working with children s/he won't be able to grade you on how you interact with them etc...

I would ring and ask for a message to be passed explaining you are not working and giving alternative days.

Hth :D
