Hello,

I have had a call from Prospects this evening but due to the bad line on the phone the conversation was cut off. I am presuming I will be having my inspection in the next 5 days. I have two children on roll, one who starts first week of Jan and is doing settling in sessions wih Mum next week. The other child comes to me for 2 days per week. However, over the next 2 weeks, on those 2 days, I have booked some Xmas trips and I am also taking leave so I wont be around those 2 days when my mindee is here. Can they make me cancel these trips and my leave? Parents and myself have already paid for these trips and I dont want to miss my sons nativity. Needs this like a hole in the head before Xmas.:clapping::panic:

Thanks again.

No of course they cant.

However with your call being cut off is the inspector aware that you have plans and settling in booked in?

If I was you i would be ringing them up and getting in touch with your inspector to tell when your trips are and she will work around them.

Usually they ring to ask when you be in - for all mine they have rung saying its due in the next week or so, and that is there any day I already have plans for. Then they say that if they aren't there by a certain time then to assume its not that day.

They are very good at fitting in with you and routines my inspector insisted I didn't change children's routine and would fit in so she was done before nursery drop off etc. I had my first graded inspection last week, phew all done before end of year.
