I am starting back to childminding after being on maternity leave. All my old parents left (they go to a different school to my son so pick ups there aren't possible now). I am starting to get abit worried about getting any children in. Anyone got any tips on where to advertise my vacancies.
Thanks

have fun!
try at school - can you put advert in newsletter or on noticeboards?
local shops/coffee shops/dentists/drs/toddlers/soft play/village halls where childrens activities happen?
wear a fleece saying childminder
tell everyone you meet you are a childminder and give them a business card.
word of mouth got me most of my mindees. the others found me using the FIS.
good luck xxx

I went around a lot of playgroups with my little one and told everyone I was a childminder. I also went along to some of the CM groups as there are a few that have prospective parents visit. FIS for advertising, the usual online places to advertise (have you thought of NCMA or ****** as well) amd it just gradually built up
I went through a stage where I panicked that I would never fill spaces but over time, it has gradually got there
Good luck
