I thought I had texted you Carol.
Ok had a cuppa baby is a sleep.
She was big on safeguarding.
She wanted to know why I had the toys out what did I think he would get from it. Etc
She liked my planning and that's I followed my next steps through.
She liked he fact that I knew developmently where he was and using a development tool to log this.
Big on working with parents mine write in the daily diary.
She said I had a happy contented little mindees and she was impressed with the relationship we have.
Very focussed on us not the paperwork - she read my policies and risk assessments
She also liked my way of reflection because I hadn't done the sef.
Think that's it - will post more if I remember

Well done indeed - yes feedback would be great when you have a minute - have a feeling my inspection will be sooner rather than later after I rang Ofsted last week to ask if I could register daughter as an assistant - probably been moved closer to top of pile now! How long ago was your last inspection?

She liked the fact that I knew what was in my policies and I hadnt got loads - my inspector said there wasnt a need for reams of polices.
Oh she also was a david bowie fan (good choice of tshirt this morning) and was an animal lover so wasnt fazed by my dogs etc. She liked the chickens etc.
In fact think it was safe to say I got a really lovely inspector

wow you guys were lucky! I started working with a co minder 1 week before our inspection we werent told til a day before she was coming, We had both been registered since sept this was may Id just left a job at a nursery to mind full time we had 4 mindees in and she took my co minder out of the living room every 10 mins so she could show her bits of our paperwork so I was left with 4 mindees under 3 she was with us 6 and a half hours and we only got a satisfactory grade as we had put permission insted of consent on our medicine forms even tho these were from our insurance company, she moaned that we hadnt done a sef even tho its not compulsory AND even said if we had got another inspector we would have been graded higher as she never gave more than satisfactory on a first inspection! so even tho we meet all the criteria to take funded children as we didnt get a good we cant take them and have lost 4 children because of it !:(
