Hi,
i am due my first ofsted visit any time now (just waiting for phone call to arrange it). I am SO nervous! Has anyone got any tips that might help me get through it? anything i can do to be completly prepared? how long do they usually stay?

Thanks :)

Relax and play with the children - the inspector will want to see how you interact with them and educate them.

Just put your files on the table and then carry on as normal you'll be fine! :D

Be very careful to ensure you have starting points and initial observations in place. A friend of mine has just fallen down badly with her first inspection on this, despite the fact the child has only been with her a couple of weeks and apparently its something they are very hot on at the minute.

Good luck x
