I am still waiting for ofsted to contact me for my first visit, does anyone know how long it takes from sending my application form off? i really want to be registered in the new year! I sent my forms off in octtober. any help would be appreciated.

I think it depends on how busy they are, mine took about 12 weeks from when I sent form in! I kept ringing them after 3 weeks. hope you hear from them soon xx

I think i applied online in sept. got the crb and health dec form by oct. and they are coming 30th november as they have a deadline of 12 weeks or sumthin to.complete the process x

Ofsted came out to me before all my CRB forms were back, they were really helpful on the first visit, but I would strongly recommend completing your booklet, the Ofsted inspector went through mine with me and that was pretty much it, apart from a check of the house and a few scenarios.

Thank you so much for the replies! has put my mind at ease as if it takes 12 weeks i should be registered in Jan.
I have done all courses and gotCRB back so it shoulld be pretty straight forward.

leeanne10 the booklet is called 'preparing for your registration visit' i have started to fill mine out. hopefully it will help if i get stuck on the visit.
