I have my pre reg visit on Friday.
Im confused about
Question 15 which is:

15. What should be covered in the risk assessment? do you intend to record your risk assessment and, if so, how do you intend doing this?

I dont know it means?

It comes on teh back of safeguarding questions?

Id be so grateful for any help - just explaining what that question means.

If you read the Eyfs framework - the statutory requirements - it is not a requirement any more to have written risk assessments.

However, you must share risk assessments with Ofsted and parents so how you will do this effectively if they are not written is a bit of an enigma.

You should have covered writing risk assessments on your pre-reg course - do you have a document you can refer back to??

that was my first ever posting and im so glad you helped....

one more and last question im not sure on - if anyone can help?

if a parent doesnt collect - i will call/contact the list of people we have agreed on as safe pepole to collect the child in even of emergency.

but am i required to inform anyone (like ofsted?) or not?
