I received a letter yesterday about the above, it states that it will be removing the conditions on my registration.
ie must not use the first floor
must not provide overnight care
must not use the grassed area of garden and so on.
It states that I must inform the parents of this
Do you put it in writing and keep a copy may be get the parent to sign
does anyone have a template letter of this that they dont mind sharing,
thanks

i haven't had my letter yet, but best to be prepared! i've already explained about variations, but hadn't thought about any other conditions! mind you, the only one i have is i don't do overnight!

I've not had my new certificate yet and knew that they were taking off the numbers of children but I didn't realise they were removing all conditions. I don't use upstairs because I truthfully can't be bothered to safe guard it :D so my cert said just downstairs.

I would send a letter to parents.
I'd also transfer all the previous conditions into my risk assessments.

This is the wording that's now appearing on the Ofsted website under individual inspection reports
"Conditions are restrictions that Ofsted places on a registration. Providers must meet these conditions at all times they provide registered care, as well as other requirements for registration. It is an offence not to meet conditions unless the provider has a reasonable excuse. If there are no conditions displayed then Ofsted has not restricted the registration. Please note that a new Early Years Foundation Stage came into effect in September 2012. This changed the way we register providers on the Early Years Register: most providers now do not have conditions of registration as the requirements they must meet are set out clearly in the revised Early Years Foundation Stage."
I intend to use some of this wording when I write to parents.
