Hi I registered in July this year, I am due my first inspection, ( I have children on roll). Am I right in thinking my inspection could be any time from January onwards?
Just starting to look at my SEF- when should I submit this?
Thanks as always.

Could be before January, I was registered in May and had my inspection in October! It caught me out because I wasn't expecting it until November so although I did my SEF I couldn't submit it in time for the inspector to read before the visit because it has to go through various systems before they get it. I gave it her on the day and she used it in her report but would have been better if she had it before.
Good luck with it all! xx

I was registered late May and had my inspection on Thursday! I did my SEF, but last min (I have only been minding since Sept and only have one after school reception class child) The inspector hadn't read it before she came but she flicked through one I'd printed out and asked if she could take it with her! Good Luck :) xx

Hi I registered in May last year but found out I was pregnant during registration. Officially started in sept this year. Due an inspection this week! Absolutely dreading as I feel so unorganised. Got 2 before and after school and one 2 1/2 year old. Not even looked at the SEF and when the inspector called I said I had some notes of areas to work on and he said that's fine I didn't expect much more due to time registered. Should I be worried??
