Hi
Does anyone else use the letters and Sounds pack at their setting? I attended a course on Saturday and we were told that if we offered the free funding then we should already be using the pack! I hadn't even heard about the pack until I attended the course!

Yes I have been using it for a few years now. I went on a training course and was given the pack. I know most schools and pre schools use the same one. I use phase one and two for my little ones, there are some great activities in it :)

On tes there is loads of planning and example to get you started ( to be fair is it something you do anyway most likely ) xx

Yes, I've used the planning from TES, some of it has been really useful :clapping:
Yes, I love, love, love it! I do phase one activities from there with my three year olds. It's quite an eye opener seeing all the things that they should be doing BEFORE they start learning to recognise it. The activities are quick to read and easy to follow. I do a couple of them each week. x

Well i'm just glad that I wasn't the only one who hadn't heard of it :). The course I attended was interesting and I will definately start using some of the activities in the pack at my setting. It also helps to know that they are using the letters and sounds packs at the nursery the mindees attend so hopefully I will now know what they are talking about when they say they are working on phase 1 etc
