Not had a call yet but i bet it wont be long ... So saving me having to worry and flap about when i do get the call from OFSTED for my first inspection, i hate ahving to worry making sure i get what i really need LOL

What will i need out? i know i need my policys, and certain certs, but what else to ease the inspection?

Hello.
To save the inspector having to talk to you too much, therefore enabling you to continue with your normal day with the children, have as much as possible on the dining table. For example, signed policies, sample menus, MOT cert, business insurance certificate, fire evacuation plan, attendance register, risk assessments, children's observations (I currently use both B23 and EYFS - my inspector said she'd have been happy with either but not all are singing off the same hymn sheet), daily check lists, daily diaries etc. I have all my certificates on display in my hallway. Ensure you have the parent's poster, complaints procedure, public liability insurance on display. Also, if you don't already have a visitor's book then make one. They are impressed with that. I also have signs up in the house saying "no hot drinks around the children", "please wash your hands after using the toilet", "please wash your hands before eating". I also have separate towels for each child to dry their hands on and their names are above the hooks.
I hope these ideas help you. I'm sure I've missed something out but others will be able to help you.
