hiya girls hoping you can help me i want to apply to ofstead for a variation i look after my nephew 3 days a week for 5 hours a day
i have twin girls starting tommo from 8-6 the mum needs me 3 days a week sometimes that is going to fall when i have my nephew since my little boy is only 3 this is going to make me over my numbers
how likley is it ofstead will give me a variation for the twins ? i have only been minding 4-5 mths my mum has said she will help out with my nephew if needed
but id rather have the variation if i can get it

what do i need to do to apply for a variation
do i need to phone up or send letter if i need to send a letter has any one sent one before i could look at im no good at writing letters

Normally they will only grant a variation for continuation of care or for sibling care not new business iyswim.

Its all about how you word it, you could say you had signed contracts with twins when nephews mum asked you to change days or something like that.

Whatever you say, you need to either write a letter/fax or email but if you email it must have a scanned signiture on it.

Yo wil need to tell them the ages/dates of birth of all children and what times they attend allong with how you feel you are able to meet all their needs, physical and emotional.

Make the letter as detailed as possible, including what equipment/resourses you can offer etc.
