I've been looking at a few of the new style reports - all have the name of the provider and most have the contact telephone number on page 6 of the report yet if I type the URN into the ofsted website and look for the report the childminders name doesn't appear so presumably they haven't given permission for their name to be published.

I thought we had a choice whether our names were published or not but from the reports I've seen it doesn't seem so.

I don't think the website is fully updated yet. I gave permission for my details to be published and when anybody looks at my page on Ofsted website they will see my full name as well as home address. However my husband's details are still not visible except his URN number.
I would say it's worth double checking as there was a hiccup on Ofsted's website over a year ago when I checked for some recent reports and noticed a lot of them have the provider's full name, address and telephone number. I rang Ofsted and they took the reports off the website almost immediately.

A number of reports have the childminder's mobile phone number on them as well... I hope they have given permission!

You have to give your permission.

All the cms round here can't see the problem and were happy to give consent. They see it as advertising.

Yes that you are often on your own in a house with several children to anyone in the country!!!

I will never give my permission.
