Hi everyone,

I want to scream...arghhh!

I have my first graded inspection next week, even though I only took on my first child yesterday (did explain situation to inspector but after checking with Ofsted I was told the inspection was due and had to be done!).

I'm glad it's sooner rather than later, and the inspector sounded reasonable & fair when we spoke on the phone.

I've downloaded the Self Evaluation Form & the document called "Are you ready for your inspection", I'm re-reading the new EYFS and the progress checks at age 2.

I don't really know why I'm posting this...brain has gone into scatty, disorganised mode. :panic::panic::panic::panic::panic:

Bye for now,

I had only been minding for just over a months when i had mine. I didn't have much to show only two obs and i did a demo on how i will be doing their learning stories, i didn't do the sef. Just make sure all your paper work is up to date and just talk about what you plan on doing . Your be fine.

Thank you!

Time has flown, although I can't believe they called the day after I started minding my first child!

I've calmed down and feel more organised now. I've been working through the SEF this evening - done about half of it. I should finish it tomorrow night and then I can spend the rest of the week making sure the paperwork's in order.
