Hi, I am currently doing my induction training with scma & my trainer has gotten me confused!!!:panic: she wrote to me the following in a e-mail:
SCSWIS have a list of policy headings on their website which you will have to turn into policy statements for your service
I have looked everywhere on the website & I can't find it.
Does anyone have the link or could help?
Many Thanks

The requirements for policies and procedures are stated in standard 14 of the Scottish Care Standards (March 2002) -
You can be confident that the records, plans and policies are properly
made and kept in accordance with national and local guidance. These
should include:
• details of the aims and objectives of the service;
• admission criteria and process;
• charges;
• complaints procedure;
• accident and incident reports;
• injury insurance;
• contact details;
• confidentiality;
• emergency procedures;
• child protection policy; and
• whistle-blowing.
Your local authority might also have further written P & Ps that they require you to produce.
Do Scottish members know if these have been updated?

I don't know where they are on the website, might be something on scma but I'm no longer a member so unsure. In your registration pack it details all the policys etc that you will require to have in place x
