Hi
I am in the process and 1st visit is in July from Care Commission.
What will she be looking for?
I have my policies, risk assessment and aims and objectives completed and i do not know what the process is in Scotland after this visit.
Any help would be appreciated..

Relax, The first visit is more or less to check over your premisis, yourself and to help you prepare for minding. They will let you know what you need to do and have in place and let you know how many children you can care for.

This is generally a very relaxed chat type of visit so nothing too much to worry about.

Hope it all goes well for you

Hi, I'm living in Edinburgh, really pleased to read that your 1st visit went well. I'm just ready to send my CC reg form away and starting to feel nervous about it already! Do they expect you to have all your policies etc in place for your 1st visit, I have started. Also how long did you wait for you visit from sending you form? Sorry soooo many questions.
