Sometimes your cookies get confused and the best thing to do is to clean them up and start fresh.

You will find cookies on the tools menu on your internet browser :D

Your own posts don't show in 'new posts'.

I think the system assumes you know that you have posted so it does not bother to show you your own new post :D
