How do you work out the cost of food for your accounts? for example packet of 12 fish fingers £2.30 bought only for mindees but only 6 been used this week, do you put in full amount or as and when they are eaten.

When I buy food for childminding I keep my shop receipt and ring what I have brought for them, I have a draw in my freezer that is work and take food from there, also when I buy fresh and dairy it goes into a set place in my fridge and my husband and children know that is work food and they do not touch or if I have to use things that belong to them then I will replace with out charge it seems to work very well. hope this helps but I sure the tax man won't count your fishfingers
